There is no drug identification system presently in use that completely eliminates the occurrence of false positives and false negatives. A forensic laboratory is required to qualitatively identify an unknown substance.

This reagent was designed specifically to presumptively identify Psilocybin, the active ingredient found in mushrooms. A positive reaction will show a distinct Pink color in the presence of psilocybin. The test will also presumptively identify less common substance of Psilocin with a Purple color. Like all our NARK II narcotic field tests, the Psilocybin/Psilocin Reagent is meant forpresumptive field drug testing.
