"Bureau" Reference Scale

Accurate reference scales are necessary for footwear and tire track impression comparisons.  The "Bureau" Scale is ideal for shoe and tire prints.

Sketches and overall photographs should be taken to locate impression evidence.  It is essential that clear, close photographs be taken from directly above the impression.  Fill the camera viewer with the impression, also including the "Bureau" Scale.  Use an oblique (low angle) flash from at least two different directions to highlight the detail in the impressions.

"Bureau" Scale Set Includes:

• One L-shaped Scale, 30cm on the Long Side and 15cm on the Short Side.
• One Straight Scale, 15cm Long.
  
• Both Scales Have Different Colors on Each of the two Sides:   
  

            White With Black Printing.
